AMBASSADORS
"Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God." —2 Corinthians 5:20
WHO IS AN AMBASSADOR?
An ambassador is a person who has been sent to another place or person or group to represent someone with greater authority. The ambassador is not there to represent himself, but the one who sent him. This is what Paul would have been thinking about in the verse above.
In our specific case, an ambassador is a Christian who is praying for and seeking to share Christ with a Muslim. This page exists to provide our ambassadors with some simple points and guidelines to help them.
Request Prayer
If you have a prayer request for a Muslim or concerning your Muslim relationship or ministry, our Special Prayer Team will pray for you.

HELPING NEW BELIEVERS GROW IN CHRIST
Your Muslim friend wants to become a Christian—now what?
We at IMO want to stand with you and your church as you disciple, baptize and empower your friend who is a Christian from a Muslim background (CMB). These three videos cover three steps we propose:
1. Meet with our ambassador coordinator and resource coordinator and
- Identify people who can provide fellowship for your CMB friend throughout the week
- Explore how to incorporate your CMB friend into your local church
- Provide you with any pastoral or cultural resources you need
2. Meet with your pastor or church leader in charge of outreach/evangelism
- Now that your CMB friend is connected to the local church, we need to think about baptism
- Ensure that your church has material suitable for the pre-baptismal discipleship of a person from a Muslim background
- Provide advice and coaching, if needed, as the process moves along
- Baptism!
3. Have your CMB friend become an ambassador
- Now that your CMB friend has been baptized we want to empower them to share the gospel
- We want to pray with them about when and how to share their new faith with their Muslim family members
- We want them to know from the beginning that every Christian can and should share their testimony
- An encourager will be assigned to your CMB friend, connecting them with the prayer support, encouragement and resources of IMO.
