International Muslim Outreach (IMO) was established in 2013 in Tampa, Florida, when Matt Walter, a former missionary and U.S. Marine Intelligence Officer, noted the growing Muslim population in West Central Florida and founded the organization known as the Tampa Muslim Outreach (TMO).

Over the next decade, TMO trained thousands of Christians in reaching Muslims for Christ and developed a network of hundreds of Christians reaching hundreds of Muslims with the Gospel.

Now TMO has become IMO and is expanding beyond Tampa Bay, reaching Muslims for Christ globally.
